3D printing components
Make your model even more authentic now with 3D printed coupling and driving rods!
The components available here are all made of "PLA (polylactide)", a material that is very well suited for the 3D printing process. The mechanical properties are excellently suited for the application as driving and coupling rods, even though the material is not as flexible as the "ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer)" used for LEGO® bricks. Due to its low density, the components are also very light. The material is food safe and even biodegradable.
The surface of 3D printed components is not smooth. Due to the 3D printing process, there is a kind of "step formation" when the component is printed. The component consists of individual layers of material, which are both visible and tangible. However, this does not affect the function in any way.
All components are currently available in the colours red, black and dark grey. The colours are not 100% identical to the LEGO® colours, but care was taken to ensure the best possible match when selecting the raw material.
The processing time, from placing the order to receiving the 3D printed parts, currently takes about one to two weeks. Special shapes and larger quantities on request. Please contact us.
During the construction of the components, special care was taken to ensure that no trademark rights are violated. Therefore, no components designed by LEGO® or other Noppenstein manufacturers are "copied" or reproduced here. The LEGO components shown ("lift arms") are not part of the offer and are only used for clear identification and size comparison.
The price quoted for the articles always applies to a pair consisting of two components identical in colour and size.
Not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts that can be swallowed! Choking hazard, please do not leave your child unattended while playing, as components or parts can be swallowed or inhaled!!!
