The steam locomotives of the type G12 or later DR BR 58 are freight locomotives. A total of approx. 1478 of these locomotives were built between 1917 and 1924. They were the first locomotives to be standardised after the First World War.
The finished model consists of approx. 1310 individual parts and can be motorised with the help of a Power Functions L-motor, which is installed in the boiler. The IR receiver and the battery box are installed in the tender. The model is available in two different colours and two different minimum radius sizes. This is the version of the DR BR 58, which is designed for a radius of R40.
