The DR BR 23 steam locomotive was developed and built for the light passenger traffic of the "Deutsche Reichsbahn". They were built by the manufacturer "Schichau AG Elbing" in 1941 and retired in 1975. They reached top speeds of around 110 km / h and had an output of around 1500 hp.

The model can be motorized with a Power-Functions M-Motor. The engine is installed in the driver's cab, the battery box in the tender and the IR receiver in the boiler. The model has Witte smoke deflectors and is equipped with numerous other details, such as the functioning chassis or the boiler superstructure. The model consists of approx. 964 individual parts and is approx. 52 knobs long with the tender.
