PDF instructions for building a model of the Norwegian State Railways "NSB Type 49" tender locomotive. This locomotive was developed for heavy express train service and built between 1935 and 1941. It was mainly used on the "Dovre line", which is why this locomotive was called "Dovregubben".
 
 The finished model of the locomotive is 58 knobs long and 10 knobs wide and consists of around 1016 individual parts. It can be powered by two Power Functions M motors, which are installed one above the other in the boiler. The IR receiver is in the cabin and the battery box is in the tender. The model has numerous striking details, such as the Vanderbilt tender or the boiler superstructure.
