The steam locomotives of the type DR BR 50 were original goods locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. In the war years from 1939 to 1948, over 3,100 units were built. They were designed for speeds of 80 km / h. Cabin tenders were modified to include a room for the freight train attendant. This saved the support car.
 The model consists of around 1360 individual parts and can be motorized with all common train engines. The special feature of this model is the large cabin tender. The entire electronics with the IR receiver and battery box are housed in the tender. In addition, up to two railway engines can be installed.
