PDF instructions for building a model of the Swiss SBB De 4/4 consisting of approx. 1324 parts. The De 4/4 is about 10 studs wide, 50 studs long and with attachments about 15 studs high. The model can be motorized with up to two Power Functions XL motors, then all four axes are driven. The IR receiver and the battery box are conveniently located inside. A driver's cab is equipped with instruments. The locomotive has many details on the chassis, on the roof and under the locomotive.
 Due to the construction, the doors cannot be opened and the roof can only be removed to a limited extent. This article is the light blue version.
