The DR BR 53 is a fictional war locomotive based on a design by the Borsig company. It was part of plans that began in 1943, but was never implemented.
The model can optionally be motorized with up to two train motors. All electronics are housed in the tender. When it comes to motorization, it does not matter whether 9V motors, power functions or powered-up motors are to be used, the model can be motorized with all available systems. The finished model is an impressive 65cm long and, depending on the tender version, consists of approx. 1170 - 1390 individual parts.
